dialect, COOL.

i was listening to capitol 95.8fm just now (dont ask me why i was listening to such a 'classic' radio station, ask the other 2 ppl in the same car i.e. my parents) and coincidentally there was the news read out in different dialects. my car journey onli allowed me to listen to the hokkien and canto one and my mum and i were both v shocked tt i understood the canto one more than the hokkien one. becos no one speaks canto in my family. or extended family. and my parents speak hokkien. :S but reli, it was cos the hokkien was.. weird. there were weird raising of pitches here and there making it hard to comprehend. it wasnt like, the typical hokkien u hear anywhere.

nvm. tune in to 95.8 if u wan to polish up ur dialect skills!

anw, havent been online for a long time.

to michelle, hannah, evonne, haoshuai, xuejiao, lysia, bihan: 78 misses u all! ahh hannah made it back onli to be sep fr the class. alamakkk!!! :(

to the newcomers: hope u all enjoy ur time in 78!

okay lah nt in the blogging mood i'm msning with so many ppl nw -___-"
